Hello everyone, this is Bo2SS~
Today's content is divided into two parts: 1) Analysis of Voting Results, 2) My Review Practice.
Analysis of Voting Results#
In the previous post, Bo2SS invited readers to vote and provide suggestions.
A total of 26 people voted, which is not a large number, but it is somewhat representative; additionally, 25 comments were received, with few suggestions, mostly compliments and expectations👀.
Before the analysis, first, congratulations to “Life's Variety” for having the highest number of likes on their comment, winning a Shopee New Year Gift Package worth 180 yuan 🎁, thank you for your sharing!
Next, let's review the 5 questions that Bo2SS was concerned about in the voting.
- What time do you usually read public accounts?
🕘 Regarding everyone's reading time for public accounts, most people chose "not fixed," and it was expected that the evening would win.
- Which section of Bo2SS do you prefer?
🌮 Regarding everyone's preferred section of Bo2SS, surprisingly, it is the lifestyle section, which has not yet published any articles❗️ (People are always full of expectations for the unknown)
- How did you come to know about Bo2SS?
📢 Regarding how everyone came to know about Bo2SS, friends from "Moments" were the most active, and surprisingly, there were 5 votes for "Others." What could those channels be? Bo2SS didn't even think of them~~ Additionally, it is a bit regrettable that fans who migrated from the comment number did not participate in the voting.
- What field are you from?
💻 Regarding the distribution of readers' fields, it is perfectly symmetrical, indicating that the reader team is well-rounded and not biased.
- What kind of sharing method do you prefer?
📸 Finally, regarding the sharing method, Bo2SS will output in a text-based, video-assisted manner. After all, text can resonate more deeply, while video tends to be more interactive.
My Review Practice#
The analysis of this voting result is actually a simple review.
I wonder if you have the habit of reflecting on something important after it has happened, finding it hard to forget immediately, and instead repeatedly thinking back, asking yourself would it have been better to do it this way?
In the past, I felt regret for not doing it that way at the time, but now I note these improvement points and tell myself to do better next time. As the saying goes, "Perfection is continuous improvement," and this process of improvement heavily relies on review.
The most profound experience I have regarding the role of review is in job interviews. After each interview, I would conduct a review, and eventually, I could predict what the interviewer would ask. So now, I still maintain the habit of reviewing my work tasks, looking forward to the surprises it brings me~
So how do we review? Here, I will briefly describe 4 steps:
1 Create a Review Template#
Different types of tasks require different review templates. For example, for some requirements in my work, I currently use this template:
- Relevant materials: (documents and materials for reference)
- Preparation
- Requirements:
- Positioning: (which libraries and codes are involved)
- Ideas
- "Reference" (are there similar practices?)
- "Key" (key steps)
- "Testing" (verify if the results meet expectations)
- ⚠️: (notes)
- Blind spots: (what blind spots hindered this practice)
- Improvement points: (where can it be done better, such as in speed or quality)
Based on the characteristics of the task and my own needs, I can continuously improve the template during each review until I create a review template that suits my tasks.
2 Record Key Points of the Process#
Throughout the process, record the details you consider important, such as blog links for reference, what aspects you participated in, and notes.
3 Review According to the Template#
After completing the task, calm down, take some time, and review according to the corresponding template!
4 Categorize and Summarize#
After completing the review, if you can categorize and summarize the gains from the review and place them into your knowledge base, making it easier to locate and recall in the future, wouldn't that be even better?
Speaking of my knowledge base, this is something Bo2SS has recently built, inspired by a friend's excellent article on building a note-taking system (A note-taking system that I wish I had discovered earlier, summarized in a mind map——Zhihu). The hierarchy of the knowledge base looks like this:
Looking forward to this knowledge tree flourishing!
Returning to the review, overall, it consists of 4 steps:
1) Create a review template 2) Record key points of the process 3) Review according to the template 4) Categorize and summarize |

If we talk about the difficulty of reviewing, it might just require a bit of patience~ Your motivation can come from the expectation of the benefits of long-term persistence, or from practicing the saying "Perfection is continuous improvement."
Alright, that's all for today. Do you have the habit of reviewing? If so, do you have any review techniques you'd like to add? Let's meet in the comments section!
