#1 | Too many browser tabs difficult to manage?

Some friends have given feedback that Bo2SS's articles are too long and dry, not suitable for this era of general entertainment~ Actually, Bo2SS hopes that the articles can be read repeatedly by friends, and it’s not necessary to finish them in one go, haha.

However, we still need to respond to friends' feedback, so Bo2SS plans to regularly record some insights from life and work, just like chatting, which might also inspire everyone a bit~

I initially plan to share recent readings, recent movies, recent fun, and recent thoughts—we'll adjust the content based on everyone's feedback later~

Recent Readings#

Recently, I shared with the new juniors at the company, and there were many themes to choose from; I chose courage.

“If I had to summarize my year in one word, I would also use courage, because many times this year, I gained a little courage for myself, which created a chain reaction and ultimately brought me a lot of rewards.”

Recently, WeChat Reading recommended the book "The Courage to Be Disliked" to me, and out of curiosity, I started reading it; I haven't finished it yet. But the author begins with a rather unique debate topic: “Can people change?”

The young man in the book believes that it is very difficult for people to change; someone who dares not face society is because they were traumatized in childhood;

While the philosopher believes that this has nothing to do with the past, and instead thinks that this person has created an anxious emotion to avoid facing society.

This is also the difference between Freud's "causal theory" and Adler's "teleological theory" in psychology. Based on the latter, the book tells readers:

What determines us is not our past experiences, but the meaning we assign to those experiences.

How will the book explain this? Let me continue reading~

Recent Movies#

Open your eyes, open your eyes... the words that kept ringing in my ears after watching this film.

The movie I watched that day was chosen by classmate SS, “Fresh vanilla, azure sky.” In the first half, I regarded it as a romantic love story, but as I watched further, I became increasingly uneasy; it turned out to be a thrilling mind-bender...

I was shocked by the plot design of a 2001 movie. Additionally, both the male and female leads are very good-looking.

Recent Fun#

If you are in Shenzhen, I definitely recommend the durian coconut chicken from Guolin; durian and coconut chicken are a perfect match~ and it gets better as you go along~

Many things, starting with a little less expectation, end up being full of surprises later.

Recent Thoughts#

I wonder if everyone has the trouble of managing too many browser tabs at work. I used to use Chrome's Group feature to manage tabs, which was quite handy, but it still felt a bit lacking in intuition.

Recently, I stumbled upon an article titled Arc Browser: The Light Has Not Yet Illuminated the Path, New Clothes Cannot Resolve Old Sorrows, which discusses how this browser has put effort into managing tabs.

There are also plugins for Chrome that implement similar design concepts, called Tablerone.

Tablerone

Combining the concept of workspaces, it manages tabs through page display.

In addition to tab management capabilities, it also supports one-click opening/exporting multiple links, keyboard shortcuts, and putting tabs to sleep to free up memory.

In short, the initial experience is quite good~

Finally, regarding this column, it is Bo2SS's "brand new" attempt. If you have any opinions, feel free to leave a message for Bo2SS~
